Instead of using the word “weight”, i want to be more specific. Weight loss and fat loss are 2 different thing. If you are concerned with seeing the number on the scale go down, that is weight loss. Weight loss only tells you your body’s relationship with gravity but doesn’t say how much muscle or fat you lost. The best is to focus on “fat loss” which is a more specific way to look at your goal. If your goal isn’t specific enough, you won’t get the specific results you want.
Also, the amount of fat you want to lose depends on how much fat you currently have and what your current diet/lifestyle is like. Trying to lose 10–15lb of “weight” in 10 days is not considered safe nor is it recommended. Be more specific with HOW much “weight” or fat you want to lose. Everyone loses fat at slightly different paces due to their biology (genetics, body composition) and environment (lifestyle).
It is difficult to comment on the exact weight loss that you can achieve within 10 days as efforts in this regard are directly under your control. But, you can definitely reduce weight by following below regimen:
Weight management is a combination of diet and exercise with around 80% contribution coming from diet and remaining from Exercise.
In terms of diet, please calculate your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), which is basically the calories required for meeting your normal metabolism.
Now in terms of diet, restrict your intake in terms of calories to be lower than your BMR. Eg. If your BMR is say 2500 K Calories, restrict your dietary input to around 2000–2200 K Cals.
Within that, please take care to cut down on saturated fats and carbs, especially simple carbs like sugars. Instead focus on more proteins and fibres. With this, the body would be deprived of basic energy sources like Carbs and Fats and would be forced to utilise stored fats to convert into energy and meet the BMR.
Physical exertion of min 45 minutes for 5 days a week (this may include running, jogging, cycling, etc or strength training) is necessary to hasten your metabolism and therefore your fat-burn. Further, higher physical exertion leads to development of lean muscle mass, which is aptly supported by proteins in your diet.
Take some natural anti-oxidants to further aid in this fat-burning process.
We would suggest you to try Proliva Sport Recovery, which contains 100% Whey Protein Isolate & Whey Protein Concentrates, which would help you meet your required proteins and also aid in weight loss.
