The eighty five year-old former President of the Court of Appeal and first Wakili of llorin, died in the early hours of Sunday at his GRA residence in llorin.
Reports say he had been sick.
Dr AbdulRahman Ajidagba, an associate of Akanbi and lNEC Resident Electoral Commissioner for Nasarawa State, confirned the loss of life in a textual content message to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in llorin on Sunday.
Prof. Mohammad Akanbi, one of the sons of the late octogenarian and a professor of law at the University of llorin, additionally confirmed the demise of his father.
